1) The differences among the three levels of the individual self, the greater self, and the Ultimate Source:

  • Individual self: a single level. It can see and experience only one floor/spacetime at a time. (Individual self = physical-body spirit.)
  • Greater self: multiple levels. It can see and experience multiple floors/spacetimes simultaneously. (Greater self = composite spirit.)
  • Ultimate Source: all levels. It can see and experience every floor/spacetime simultaneously. (The complete self = the Ultimate Source.)

For example, the Burj Al Arab (the sail-shaped hotel), which I happen to like, has 56 floors = 56 levels.

If you look at only one floor, you know only what is on that floor and nothing about the others. You cannot enjoy the beautiful view from the Skyview Bar on an upper floor, much less know what the entire building looks like.

It is like watching just one television channel, unaware of the rich programming available on countless other channels.

Viewed from each level, each is a truth. So how many truths are there?

The individual self, at its single level, can see and experience only one reality at a time.

The greater self, across multiple levels, can see and experience multiple realities simultaneously.

The Ultimate Source, across all 360 levels, can see and experience 360 realities simultaneously.

Does the difference between the individual self and the greater self remind you of the blind men and the elephant?

2) Even individual selves differ in the particular single-level limitations they face:
