Awakenology Terminology Glossary
Awakenology / Awakenosis / Hypnosis — Chinese–English working glossary
This glossary collects terms found in Awakenology course materials and related discussions. It records the framework's own terminology; it does not independently validate the claims expressed in the source materials.
Translation status: English equivalents are provisional unless explicitly identified as established framework terminology. Context-dependent terms may have more than one rendering. Please retain the Chinese term where the intended meaning depends on the Awakenology framework.
Source basis: Awakenology course materials, practical-experience notes, and terminology documented in prior discussions. The original Chinese wording should not be silently changed to improve a translation.
Status: Initial working glossary, based on terms used in the Awakenology course materials. English equivalents are provisional unless explicitly identified as current framework terminology. This glossary records terminology; it does not independently validate the claims or theories expressed in source materials.

Scope and confidence labels
For editorial clarity, the glossary uses three practical statuses:
- Current framework term: a term whose English wording has already been selected for this Awakenology framework (for example, Awakenosis, Progressive Increase, Progressive Decrease, and Layer-by-Layer Return).
- Working translation: a plausible bilingual equivalent based on the source wording, not yet confirmed as the author's preferred final English.
- Context-dependent / unresolved: a term whose best translation depends on meaning in the particular passage, or whose conceptual relationship has not yet been defined.
This expanded list is a source-grounded working inventory, not a claim that every English equivalent is final or that every source concept has an established mainstream scientific meaning. New terms should be added as they appear in prior discussions and course materials; existing Chinese source text should not be rewritten merely to fit an English translation.
Translation and editorial rules
1. Keep Chinese and English terms together on first use where practical: 催醒 (Awakenosis).
2. Treat this as a living glossary. A listed English equivalent is a working translation unless the entry explicitly says it is the current recommended framework term.
3. Preserve distinctions made by the source materials. In particular, do not merge 自主意识 and 自动意识, or 递增, 递减, and 递归.
4. Translate 轮回 according to context; do not automatically render every instance as “reincarnation.”
5. Do not infer unresolved relationships between a₋₁, a₀, and a₊₁, or assign increase/decrease to either direction without an explicit definition.
6. The source course materials are experience-based and use their own framework-specific definitions. Do not silently replace them with mainstream psychology, spirituality, or computer-science definitions.
7. Before using a provisional translation in a polished public course, confirm it with the author. Do not change the Chinese source wording as part of translation cleanup.
Source basis
This expanded list draws on recurring terms and headings in Awakenology-course.txt, 实战经验.txt, a催醒聚乐部-课程.docx, and the user's prior Awakenology discussions. English equivalents not explicitly established by the user are marked as working, provisional, or context-dependent. The source note in 实战经验.txt says content should be based on practical experience rather than theoretical speculation. The glossary records source vocabulary and conversation-derived terms without independently validating claims or silently adding definitions.
